Why are residents who have fully paid their management fees are not seeing the estate being maintained?
It appears that SPM believes the front garden, which we were told was their responsibility at the last AGM is not theirs to maintain.
They were going to check this. The residents association will be also discussing this at their next meeting and what action needs to be taken.
There is a landscaping company working on site once a week during the summer and fortnightly in the winter.
In Hamlet Square weed killer is being overused - why are the residents not being consulted in its use?
The green area in the square was not done properly by Neville (Builders of the estate above). The area should be redone
in the coming month. The issue of the weed killer being spread without notifying the resident has been raised. We would like
to know what is being used and when. So that children and pets can be kept away from sprayed area when necessary.
What are residents paying for?
General maintenance (to be clarified particularly if it turns out they are not looking after the gardens), public liability insurance, Agent fee.
When was the last time maintenance of gardens took place?
Never as in first question the response from SPM was evasive. It appear they believed the front garden was not theirs to maintain.
They were contradicted by people from McInerney on this. The residents committee to investigate this further.
Have all the houses/apartments in the estate sold?
Yes all the estate is sold.
How much are the Directors paid?
The directors are not paid
Were tendors sought before the new auditors were appointed?
No they were already appointed for this year.
Define 'ground maintenance'?
The question was not asked. It will definitively feature in next residents committee meeting and action sought.
Agents fees: are -4737, why is this a negative figure?
This is the fee from the previous agent that was not on the previous year budget.
Why are there separate accounts for Chieftain's Court, are these accounts sub accounts of the main account or totally separate?
There are no separate accounts
2 beds are paying 143.80, but 3 beds are paying 110.70, thought the payments were higher the more bedrooms that you had?
This apparently was a typing error!
42k income surplus in the bank - why is there such a huge surplus?
Why was no interest received from the bank for this balance?
This is not money in the bank per se it's the money in the bank and money due as well.
